Muldoon found positives in the Stance E’s plush rear suspension response, seamless power delivery, clear, compact display/controller, generous frame sizing, and smooth shifting with Shimano LikeGlide.
Mulddon boasts Giant’s SyncDrive motor, stating it offers “a really smooth power curve at lower rpms. Stick to a cadence of around 70rpm and it’s pretty quiet too.”
Giant’s E-bike motors provide consistent and reliable assistance, prioritising energy efficiency and longevity.
Muldoon further writes that the motor, frame geometry, and instant motor engagement, he claims the Stance E+ “makes light work of technical climbs.”
To accompany the motor, the Stance E+ is also equipped with a 625Wh battery, so you can ride much further on high power modes. Better yet the 625Wh battery is also compatible with the 250Wh EnergyPak Plus range extender.
When discussing the Stance E’s descending capabilities, the review remains positive.
“On rough, high-speed trails with a relatively constant pitch, like the blue runs at BikePark Wales, the Giant is totally in its element.”
The MBR magazine tested also compliments the responsiveness of the 29inch wheels and ‘pitter-patter suspension’.
Muldoon writes “The Stance E+ 1 is so good at isolating the rider from the constant onslaught of impacts, without making you feel disconnected from what’s going on beneath your tyres”.
